GHD = Good Heave Day

   My work out was 5 rounds of 20 GHD Sit-ups and 10 pull ups. It took me about a half hour. I thought it would not take so long, but the sit ups proved to be much more demanding than I originally anticipated. After I was done with the work out and I was working with my kids to get them on the bus I felt more and more nauseated. Eventually my body gave up the water I had drunk that morning to that point. This is the first time I have worked out to the point of this happening. I know this is not a healthy thing so I do not take pride in it, but I also know those sit-ups are a potent moment. I have been glad these last couple weeks to just be up to this point in my core development.

   Generally I have been very happy with the way my body has responded to the routine. In another 10 days from now I will be weighing myself just to see where I am. Then at the end of the year I will be posting some pictures I took of myself at the beginning of the year and then taking similar pictures to show the difference only five and a half months of cross fit has done. Then to "celebrate" my 6 month anniversary of doing cross fit I am going to do my very first cross fit work out. (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZKe8gTt0bU for the first round) Looking forward to sharing and hope it is encouraging to any who read this.

This is where the fun begins,
-Chris
